Max Crowdfund has obtained an exemption from the Financial Authorities in the Netherlands (Autoriteit Financiële Markten - AFM) for "mediating in repayable funds" and is registered with the AFM with registration number 19000066.
Prior to receiving the registration on the 16th of July 2020, both our lawyers and the AFM have performed rigorous checks on the integrity, expertise, and professionalism of the directors and employees involved. In addition, the clarity of the organizational structure and the business model has been tested.
Under this registration, Max Crowdfund may mediate in loan agreements with companies. Fundraisers will therefore never be private individuals at Max Crowdfund.
An "exemption from mediating in the collection of repayable funds" means - strictly speaking - that Max Crowdfund is not under the continuous supervision of the AFM. Because the AFM wants to follow developments in the crowdfunding sector, Max Crowdfund regularly consults with the AFM and reports twice a year to the AFM on, among other things, the size of Max Crowdfund.
